JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Qualification – B.Sc./HND in Accounting or Finance
Professional certification (ICAN/ACCA) is an added advantage
Experience in oil and gas logistics is an added advantage
Excellent communication and reporting skills
Thorough knowledge of ERP application
The candidate must reside in Apapa and its surroundings

PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage balance sheets, profit and loss accounts and entity account reconciliations
Track all payments and expenses while ensuring the accuracy of the general ledger and sub-ledgers
Monitoring shipments and carrying out ship reconciliations
Confirmation of customer payment to entity accounts and reconciliations of bank statement with product loaded daily
Posting of transactions and daily approval of transactions displayed on Tally, Depoma and other software
Reconciles bank statements, records payments to various accounts, reconciles and balances the interfund ledger account
Consolidate data with other business affiliates
Preparation of payroll upon receipt of instructions from HR
Prepare schedules, returns, payments, reports on tax provisions and maintain a company’s tax database
Identify legal tax savings and recommend ways to improve profits
Document and manage tax files – WHT, VAT, PAYE, PENSION etc.
Maintain fixed asset schedule and register of assigned company assets
Process additions, disposals, acquisitions and disposals of assets as well as calculation of depreciation of assets
Daily/weekly/monthly reporting to line manager
Other duties assigned by supervisor
